What personal data this site receives, what for, who it is shared with and how you can exercise your rights.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the company identified in the legal notice.

The company has not yet appointed a data protection officer (encarregado). Until then, the channel for any privacy matter is contato@balkantecnologia.com.br.

When you visit the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare receives technical data from each visit: IP address, browser and operating system type, the address of the page requested, date and time.

The site uses no cookies, no audience analytics tools and shows no advertising. The details are in the cookie policy.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site online and protected (art. 7, IX, of the LGPD).

When you write to the company

If you write to us, we receive what you send: name, email, company and phone if you provide them, and the message.

We use this data to reply and, where relevant, to discuss a project. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract, at your request (art. 7, V, of the LGPD), and legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (art. 7, IX).

Messages sent to contato@balkantecnologia.com.br pass through Cloudflare's email forwarding service on their way to the company's mailbox.

Who the data is shared with

With Cloudflare, as described above, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

Cloudflare is a United States company and may process this data outside Brazil.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as needed to reply and follow up on the matter, or for the period the law requires.

Your rights

The LGPD (art. 18) gives you the right to obtain, on request:

  • Confirmation that we process your data.
  • Access to the data.
  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Anonymisation, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed in breach of the law.
  • Portability of the data, under the rules of the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
  • Information about the entities we have shared the data with.
  • Objection to processing carried out in breach of the law (art. 18, § 2).

How to ask

Write to contato@balkantecnologia.com.br saying which right you want to exercise. You can also file a petition with the ANPD.

When this notice changes, the update date on this page changes with it.
