How this site was built

The pages of this site are static files. They reach your browser ready to read, with no database behind them.

With every release, an automated test opens every page and checks whether any cookie was set or the browser's local storage was used. You can also check each item below with your browser's developer tools.

• There are no audience measurement tools, advertising pixels or trackers.
• Fonts, images and scripts are served by the site itself. No page loads files from other domains.
• The scripts handle the menu, the animated line that runs down the page, the film on the home page and the contact form.
